Beginner’s Series

Have you always wanted to practice yoga but didn’t know where to start? If you are seeking a series of yoga classes that will demystify yoga and teach the basics in a supportive and fun environment, then join us for this five-class beginner’s yoga series! In the series, you’ll learn about the background of yoga, pranayama (breathing) exercises, step-by-step asana (poses) instruction of the basic yoga postures to demonstrate proper alignment and safety.

Yoga 2.0

 

Are you ready to move deeper into your yoga practice both physically and spiritually? This 5-week class series is designed to take students to the intermediate level with more advanced yoga postures that require a bit more strength and flexibility in a small group setting where you will get lots of guidance on proper alignment. Each week will also include teachings from the yoga sutras and cover the eight limbs of yoga, with an emphasis on learning how to meditate and chant. Prepare to learn, laugh, relax, and grow deeper in your yoga practice in these highly motivating classes.

Candlelight Healing & Sound Immersion

 

Start the weekend off with a gift to yourself, an evening of slow flowing and restorative yoga with the beautiful and healing sounds of crystal bowls, Koshi chimes, hand pan drum, and gongs. Maria will lead you through breathwork, gentle and restorative yoga, mudras, chanting, and meditation that will bring about a sense of peace, while Katie immerses the room with rich and vibrational sounds that will touch your soul and lift your spirits. An extended savasana with gongs is part of the experience (if you have never been bathed in the sound of a gong, you do not want to miss this opportunity!). You will leave feeling relaxed and restored.

Tara is an OB/GYN that has been in practice for almost 20 years. She is triple board certified in OB/GYN, Functional Medicine and Integrative Medicine. She has been treating hormonal disorders for 12 years and opened her Integrative practice, Revitalize, in 2013. She recently “retired” from OB/GYN to focus completely on functional medicine.
