This class is held in the Ganesha Studio.
An uplifting class that begins with a seated pranayama (breath) exercise, followed by a slower paced yet invigorating vinyasa yoga practice. The last 15 minutes of class are dedicated to a long sweet savasana and instruction for a quiet period of meditation to help your mind calm and let your body relax and absorb the peace and stillness. If you are seeking detailed asana and meditation instruction, or desire a slower paced yoga practice with longer holds and focus on breath and proper alignment, this class is for you! Class length is 75 minutes. All levels welcome.
Are you ready to move deeper into your yoga practice both physically and spiritually? This 4-week class series is designed to take students to the intermediate level with more advanced yoga postures that require a bit more strength and flexibility in a small group setting where you will get lots of guidance on proper alignment. Each week will also include teachings from the yoga sutras and cover the eight limbs of yoga, with an emphasis on learning how to meditate and chant. Prepare to learn, laugh, relax, and grow deeper in your yoga practice in these highly motivating classes. The classes are held in the Ganesha Studio (maintained at 70 degrees). Class size is limited to 15 students so register early! Workshop fee: $65 or drop-in for $16. Please note that there are no refunds or make-ups for sessions missed.
