skeg · ging (noun)

  1. A covering for the legs that is a mash-up of leggings and a skirt. Generally worn by stylish yoginis who don’t want to show off their bum to the world.
  2. A super-comfy alternative to yoga pant leggings that also happen to make you feel pretty darn cute.

When I first saw these Omala skeggings, I knew immediately that I had found an important solution. I’m the girl you always see running around doing her errands in her yoga pants. Problem was I always felt a little self conscious when I wore my tight fitting yoga pants off the mat. My Omala skeggings totally take care of that because they cover, from the waist down, all the areas of my body that I don’t want to share with the public. Seriously, the addition of the attached skirt to these leggings hides a host of sins, and these versatile leggings can go from a yoga mat to the Laundromat or a lunch date without missing a beat.

I would pretty much wear yoga pants any time I could if I could get away with it. I’ve never met a yoga pant that wasn’t comfortable to wear, and my Omala skeggings made with bamboo, cotton, and spandex feel even more sumptuous than most. I really love the wide waistbands on the skeggings that help keep my tummy in and always feels snug (no adjustments required) during yoga class.

I’ve washed both pairs I own quite a few times, and they are both holding up extremely well. The natural and sustainable materials make both me and the earth feel happy.

I thought it was kind of interesting that the label says that the fit was engineered by experts to flatter all body types. Wouldn’t you love to be in the room of engineers when they somehow figured out how to do that? They deserve some kind of medal because I get a ton of compliments every time I wear them.
