I love this quote! We can make it so easy to accept defeat just by saying or thinking, Hey it wasn’t my fault. It’s easy to blame someone else (the dog ate my homework) for not succeeding at work or any aspect of life.
Who is blocking your way today? Give them a big, fat kick in the ass, and push your excuses out of the way. It’s time to get back into the game and give it your best shot! And if that doesn’t work, rinse, reload, and repeat.
So why is this quote on the D.D.D. page, and what does it have to do with yoga? Well, the same message can be applied to the practice of yoga. If you are struggling with a pose or afraid to try a pose, it’s time to lose your fear or self judgement and go for it. Try doing that pose again and if you keep on trying, eventually you will get where you are supposed to be.
It is just as important in yoga as in business to keep going back for one more try.
